Polydec has made a decisive start to the year with the arrival of nine new automatic turning machines, including Escomatic, Tsugami and Tornos EvoDECO products, enabling the company to increase its production by 20%!
Implementing the strategy has not been easy, with the layout of the entire machine shop requiring modification. Numerous preliminary tests were carried out to determine the optimum balance between the machine space and the work area.
In total, more than half of the machines had to be moved and realigned without causing too much disruption to production during the 2-week operation.
The company has also just expanded its team through the addition of three new bar turners and a microtechnology engineer.
Polydec is now well-equipped to tackle new challenges, and we hope to be able to offer an even better service to our customers in the automotive, watchmaking and electronics industries.
